Horton hears a moo

Spring time is calf time and there’s quite possibly nothing more fun than raising an orphan calf. Horton is by all accounts an absolute sweetheart. He loves people, puppies, and certainly feeding time. Horton’s all time favorite love, though, is other cows. He’s even charmed Captain Jack Sparrow, Pebbles and BamBam!

To give you a perspective of his size: Nala, the little black dog is 21 lbs! And honestly, he was light as a feather to pick up until he was about 6 weeks old. Easily, he was under 30 lbs.

Horton goes to his new family in March and his new name is Teddy! He is such a freaking Teddy bear!

Update: Teddy is happy in his new home! He has a big brother to hang out with and teach him all the fun things cows can do. And yes, we did deliver him in the back of the Subaru!
