Karma, head cow wrangler
Karma
Karma is our lead cow wrangler and general trouble maker. Known to squeeze into cow paddocks and entice the cows into a game of chase. Usually, with Karma in the lead and the cows running after her kicking up their heels in delight. Also known for her wild hairdos and mop-like ways.
Nala, security detail, puppy
Nala
Nala is tasked with overall ranch security. She can see a coyote from miles away and dutifully lets us know. She’s also on point for security detail for visitors and deliveries.
Monkey, resident goof ball and speed racer
Monkey
Monkey is known for her insane speed and tireless enthusiasm. Smartly, she’s a bit timid around the livestock. That said, she’s our go to when we head out to the far corners of the pastures to bring the cows in for dinner.
Willis, ranch manager
Willis
Willis is our overall ranch manager. He’s known for hiding in plain site (usually having found some scrap of something to eat). Make no mistakes about it, Willis owns the entire farm, house, and cow barn included.
Axel Rod, Nim Rod
And introducing, Axel. He’s our latest addition to the homestead an 11/21 Giant Schnauzer puppy. He’s both a big goof ball AND a strategic deterrent. Trust me, when he barks and charges, EVERYONE takes notice. From the first day we brought him home, his booming bark is a great reinforcement for ranch security.
